Foot Mechanix Podiatry was established by Karen Knightly in March 1999, specialising in biomechanics, gait analysis and sports podiatry.
Karen graduated from Plymouth School of Podiatry in 1993. In January 1994 she moved into private practice in London and Surrey
in order to concentrate on specialist areas of biomechanics, gait analysis and sports podiatry. In 1995,
She established a specialist sports podiatry clinic in Auckland, New Zealand, treating professional and recreational athletes.
Karen is very interested in every sporting activity and has a particular interest in running injuries and postural problems, she successfully
treats sportsmen and women from recreational to professional athletes, including: runners, footballers, rugby players, golfers, athletes and
members of the British Army.
We also welcome anybody who may not regard themselves as athletes, but may be experiencing foot or leg pain
and we are experienced in treating people of all ages, from infants to the elderly.
