Foot Mobilisation Technique

Foot Mobilisation Techniques have derived from manipulative therapy, an established treatment widely used by physiotherapy, chiropractic and osteopathy practitioners. This is a new therapy within Podiatry and very few clinics are practicing FMT in the UK currently.

Foot Mobilisation is a gentle, hands-on approach that corrects misaligned joints in your feet, so they can work as nature intended. Often misaligned joints in the feet lead to postural problems which can cause pain in the knees, legs, hips and even lower back.

FMT treatment corrects the underlying cause of your problem and then we teach you how to maintain the improvement with exercise so you can enjoy long-term relief from foot pain.

Hands on healing through joint mobilisation, together with corrective exercises, stimulate your body's natural repair system. While the treatment only takes a few minutes, the improvement lasts for 48-72 hours. Repeated consistently, the positive effects will continue to last longer and longer due to the accumulative capacity of treatments.
